German Pop meets Latin America and a new sound is born!

How is that possible? An exceptional musician by the name of Jay Del Alma and his new single “Mi Corazón” make it possible. It is proof that these worlds, when combined, make great music together.

The catchy “Mi Corazón” is a romantic summer fairytale! The song shows that pop music has no limits when created out of spirituality and passion. The special aspect of this tune is that it’s based on a song by one of Germany’s top artists Heinz Rudolf Kunze “Dein ist mein ganzes Herz”. The original song, sung in German was a massive success in 1986. This mixture is exotic and nostalgic in the same way and defines 20 years of music history in one track! Fans of German Rock, “Latin Lovers” and “House-People” will love it.

„Mi Corazón“ is the first single of a brilliant concept work on which the young Brazilian interprets German classics in a very modern and unique way. A wonderful melody meets dance-rhythms and a romantic voice. In short: Jay Del Alma is setting a monument to German pop and overwhelms us with a sunny facility.

As a young kid the Brazilian son of a diplomats-family travelled the world, lived in Perú and Paraguay and was inspired by different cultures. In San Juan/Puerto Rico Jay met Rico Caliente and formed the Duo Pachanga. In 2005/2006 Pachanga celebrated two top hit’s in Germany and throughout Europe: “Loco” and “Close To You” .

Producing his first solo album is making his childhood dreams come true.

„Mi Corazón“ will be released in July 2009. It’s unique and shows that Pop has no limits. So stay tuned for a hot summer.
