The new Dance Queen of Romania now exclusive at World Concerts (Germany-Austria-Switzerland). After global success with a feature with “Jay Ko” Anya´s released her first solo single called “Beautiful World”. With over 3 Million clicks on Youtube she jumped into the top10 Dance Charts. Biografie
Born on 22 July 1986, Ana Maria, known as Anya, is a Romanian dance singer from Sibiu, Romania. Since her childhood, the young Anya could always be heard singing no matter what else was going on around her.
Her first steps in the music scene were in 2002, when she joined the band called “Select” where she sang for two years.
In 2004 she started to sing solo and she had about 300 live concerts until 2008 when her real music career started joining the very popular band “Hi-Q”. Among Hi-Q she had the chance to prove that she has an amazing voice by singing a song “Lose You” that became shortly a national hit. Together with the band “Hi-Q” she also released other singles as “Hello, Say Hello “, “Asa-s Prietenii”(This Is The Way Friends Are).
In January 2009 Anya made a featuring with the experienced dj & music producer named “Jay Ko” by launching “Crazy”.The second single with Jay Ko - “One” was released in January 2010 and in short time it became the most played song in Romania. Consequently, the single was no.1 in Romania and moreover it was licensed in over 19 European countries, but also in America, Asia and Australia.
In February 2010 Anya decided to leave the band “Hi-Q” and focus on the featuring with Jay Ko and also the solo career.
In 2010 she signed with the Romanian Record Label MediaPro Music for publishing, her booking management is made by Star Agency.
In May 2010 she promises to release her first solo single, she also promises to sing soon with a live band in her shows.
Therefore in July, Anya released her first solo single, “Beautiful World”, who had a big impact on the public.
In 2011 she released “Your Voice” and came out with a new look and a new concept for her show as she is performing LIVE with a band, acoustic version of her songs and covers also.
Her third single also released in October 2011 is entitled “Fool Me” and is already in heavy rotation on all the important radio stations from Romania.
People say that she has a sweet-angelic voice that can make your day better after you hear her songs.
